B o a t   t r i p s   w i t h   t h e   A r g o   The idyllic fishing village of Panormo in the disctrict of Perama on the north coast of Crete is the Argo's home port. 20 kms east of Rethymnon, it developed to a cosy holiday resort. Many interesting places can be reached from here by boat which are not accessable from land due to the partly very cragged terrain.   The boat: 1995 model 10 meters long, 120 h.p. built-in FORD Diesel room for 20 passengers / cabin for 8 persons 4 bunks, toilet handmade from wood at Panormo in the traditional Cretan fishing boat style   The skipper: 1950 model named Nikos Zervos is an Aquarius - what else? speaks German and is a passionate angler handmade in the district of Perama   The port: Panormo in the district of Perama central on the north shore of Crete 20 kms from Rethymnon, 45 kms from Heraklion oldest fishing village on the island smooth tourism   The excursions: stalactite caverns of Scaleta (accessible only from the sea) coastal trips to Bali and Rethymnon stops for swimming and pleasure angling special angling trips for pros and those who want to become ones   Groups can charter the Argo as well: The skipper arranges trips to secluded bays or unforgettable sunsets.   Text by Ingo H.
